Candle Care Instructions
In order to get the most out of your wood wick candle, it's important to properly care for it. Here are a few tips:
1. When burning, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar: This will prevent tunnelling (when the wax only melts down the center of the candle) and lead to wastage of wax & fragrance. The melting process will take about 30 - 60 minutes, especially when burning for the first time.
2. Trim the wick: Before re-lighting your wood wick candle, be sure to trim / snap off the charred, brittle parts. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and will ensure that your candle burns evenly.
3. Don't burn for too long: A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for no more than 2.5 hours at a time. This prevents the wax from overheating and will extend the life of your candle.
4. Store properly: When you're not using your candle, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place. This helps prevent the wax from melting and will keep your candle in good condition. Use the lid to make sure no dust or debris fall into the wax.
By following these tips, you can enjoy your candle for longer and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home. Happy burning!
