Care Instructions
In order to get the most out of your wood wick candle, it's important to properly care for it. Here are a few tips:
-Burn for at least an hour: The first time you light your wood wick candle, be sure to burn it for at least an hour. This will allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar, which will prevent tunnelling (when the wax only melts down the center of the candle).
-Trim the wick: Before re-lighting your wood wick candle, be sure to trim / snap off the charred, brittle parts. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and will ensure that your candle burns evenly.
-Don't burn for too long: While it's important to burn your wood wick candle for at least an hour at a time, you don't want to burn it for too long. A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for no more than 2.5 hours at a time. This will help prevent the wax from overheating and will extend the life of your candle.
-Store properly: When you're not using your wood wick candle, be sure to store it in a cool, dry place. This will help prevent the wax from melting and will keep your candle in good condition. Use the lid to make sure no dust or debris fall into the wax.
By following these tips, you can enjoy your wood wick candle for longer and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home. Happy candle burning!
